BUILDING COMMUNITY AND HEALTHIER EATING HABITS
Healing Hypertension in Black Women Through Cooking
Discover how cooking classes are empowering women with hypertension to take control of their health and well-being in this insightful NBC Chicago spotlight.
THE CHALLENGE
To increase the demand for healthier dietary choices. Good Food is Good Medicine was created with the understanding that healthy eating plays a significant role in long-term health. That’s especially true in the underserved and underrepresented communities in Chicago that we serve.

We partner with local organizations to provide classes and other activities that are in our targeted communities on the South and West sides of Chicago.
